I understand that you have an HP Deskjet 1050 All-in-One Printer - J410 and it does not scan using the HP Software. Printing and copying work well. You have tried running the HP Print and Scan Doctor program and it says to check HP Twain. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.

I would like to know the following information to assist you better: • Have you tried to scan using another application like Paint? • Did any changes take place on the computer like updates, etc after which this issue may have started? This seems to be a drivers issues.
