Hello I am new to the Emulator, but i am looking for advice with my system and my settings. I am on a non-existant budget so what i have is what i have for the moment and i can't upgrade. I am going to try and upgrade my system at a later date but i am looking for advice to get the games i do have to play without loosing too much quality. I don't mind if they are not as amazing as could be but just playable would be nice. I can play.hack Infection with no problems at basic setting, Kingdom Hearts runs well but a few problems around flowing water, Dragon Quest VIII runs slow when i have certain fields in view, Star Ocean-Till the end of time runs at 35~52fps. I am not asking for you to make this super green. Just some advice on how to get the most from this system.

Thanks again. Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0ghz 4~8gb Ram (I have two sets of ram but one runs at a higher bus speed) Nvidia Geforce GT 720 Windows 7 Pro.

So I've been playing some SSX Tricky and I decided to try the 'Trick Tutorial' part. Everything went fine and the game is at a constant 60fps until the bottom of the hill after I've done the trick, the game just goes down to 32fps. I know everything isn't perfect in emulation but I was just looking to see if anyone could suggest a setting I could change that might help.

I've not tried software mode and I don't really want to use that Settings I use below. While I don't have issues with PCSX2 per se, it does bother me that some inputs are recorded as DX Wireless Controller and some are recorded as something else even though I'm using the same controller.

Anyways, the main issue is that some emulators respond to the DS4 controller differently. Two specific situations come to mind: 1. On SNES9x, pushing diagonals on the d-pad does not register anything. The only way to get diagonal movement is to set the D-pad to detect diagonals, which I didn't have to do with my PS1/PS2 controller adapter. On MAME, I tried to map buttons, but, when I go to map a button for, say, player 1, it apparently is registering different buttons on controllers 1 and 2. What I am wondering is how to fix these issues.

I already tried checking the 'Hide DS4 controller' option, but that didn't do anything. Thanks in advance! I've added the cheats Have All Persona in Compendium Book patch=1,EE,407981FC,extended,00BF000C patch=1,EE,00010001,extended,00010000 All Persona Level Max in Compendium Book patch=1,EE,40798200,extended,00BF000C patch=1,EE,00000063,extended,00000000 All Persona Max Stats in Compendium Book patch=1,EE,40798218,extended,00BF000C patch=1,EE,63636363,extended,00000000 patch=1,EE,4079821C,extended,00BF000C patch=1,EE,63636363,extended,00000000 patch=1,EE,40798220,extended,00BF000C patch=1,EE,00006363,extended,00000000 but yet when I check the compendium there's no skills on my persona? Download Free Prince Xpectation Raritan. Even if I put them as a main, they don't have any skills. If someone would tell me how to get their skills on there, it'd be great. TL;DR version: Apologies if this is common knowledge, but I was tearing my hair out googling for a solution, and just now found it, so for all you other newbies going crazy trying to fix screen tearing with Windows 7: Enable the Aero desktop.

Long version: I am running a fairly beefy system for a single-GPU PC, but I was just not able to solve my tearing problems. Turning on V-sync inside PCSX2, or in the Nvidia control panel, or both, didn't do anything. I would get tearing both in pre-rendered cutscenes and in-game, and it was driving me up the walls.

I first noticed it in Yakuza 2, but then, having once seen it, I started seeing it in every other game in PCSX2 too. Frankly, I've seen it in The Witcher 3 too, but figured that was just a foible of that particular game that I would just have to live with. I mean, sure, my monitor is a pretty cheap 60 Hz monitor that I bought way before I considered getting into PC gaming again, it was just for work.

I was starting to consider upgrading to a newer G sync monitor, but that still wouldn't really solve my problem, since most of my emulated gaming happens on my projector anyway, and not my home-office monitor. Then for some reason while googling the same search terms over and over (what's the definition of insanity, again?), I saw somebody recommend turning on Aero and hey, what do I have to lose, right? And just like that, every single tear in Yakuza 2 disappeared. It is really weird.
